Andrea Nugent's family moved to Victoria, BC just over 18 months ago, and her child commenced at Bayside in September 2015. Despite being new to this school and region she jumped right in and became the Bayside's Canadian Parents for French (CPF) representative. Over the past year, Andrea has attended meetings at CPF as well as the monthly PAC meetings and helped to build awareness on various projects. She has led the annual CPF fundraiser at Bayside by selling catalogue subscription, arranged French drama workshops, French story-readings, book sales, organized social events such as the year-end "5 to 7", open to all Bayside families and much more.
Sadly, Andrea has had to step down from this fun role due to other work pressures. Un très, très grand merci Andrea for your amazing energy, motivation and contributions over the past year and half. We wish her well in her new job.

SEEKING NEW BAYSIDE REPRESENTATIVE FOR CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH
Bayside is seeking a new parent representative to attend CPF meetings. In order to continue receiving vital Funds for French Language resources as well as the potential for other funding requests, we need to have a representative.
The role will include:
- attending monthly meetings;
- assist with the CPF Fundraising Coordinator with the Annual Magazine Drive fundraiser in the fall;
- helping out with the Bonjour/Bonne Nuit nights; and
- arranging an annual social networking event.
The Representative is NOT required to speak French.
