The role of the Parent Advisory Council is to act in an advisory capacity. It is the officially recognized voice of parents of children registered at the school.
All parents/guardians of children attending Bayside are already voting members of the PAC. The primary duty of the PAC Executive is to act as a liaison between the principal, staff, and parents. You are encouraged to attend the monthly PAC meetings. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you can always contact one of your PAC Executive members. Microsoft Teams meeting access is always available.

Here are just a few ways to get involved:
CPF:
Assisting with fun Canadian Parents for French events.
Fundraising:
Fundraising efforts to support a variety of student activities (including traditionally helping with field trips costs, funding teacher requests and funding the Grade 8 Farewell).
Grade 8 Farewell:
A group of grade 8 parents will be needed to volunteer to help organize this event for the Grade 8s.
Miscellaneous Jobs:
We are always in need of volunteers to help with miscellaneous jobs throughout the year. The jobs would be one time only and of a short duration. Do you have any school project ideas you'd like to submit? Come to our next meeting!
