Hi Everyone,

Here is some information regarding the upcoming UVIC course "Perceived Safety: Conversations about Using Marijuana"

This course is run as a single session on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

This course is designed to give adults and youth access to recent research about youth substance use and its consequences. The instructor, Bonnie Leadbeater is a Professor in Psychology at UVic and holds degrees in Nursing and Educational Psychology from the University of Ottawa and in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University, NY. Her recent research explores the different ways that youth use substances like alcohol and marijuana and their consequences for mental health and development.
