HEY! HEY! HEY! BAYSIDE! Wednesday, Feb. 27th is PINK SHIRT DAY! Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry for the pink shirt challenge. They were all FANTASTIC. The winner of the Bayside Pink Shirt challenge goes to ELAINA COLEY!!! Congratulations!

Need to get a pink shirt? No worries! Student Council will be selling a LIMITED NUMBER of pink shirts on Monday and Tuesday in the Gallery at Recess and Lunch. ONly $15 each there is a limited number so first come, first served.

Girls Field Hockey: If you are in grade 6/7/8 and are interested in playing Field Hockey this year please come to a meeting next Wednesday at Lunch in SOUTH 114.

Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy: Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy is hosting a free skills ice session on Tuesday, March 12th , from 7:30 – 9:00 am. If you are a hockey player and are interested in attending this free event, please come get a permission form from Ms. Pettigrew in the office. There will be bus transportation back to Bayside after the session.

FIND YOUR FIT TOUR – A CAREER EXPLORATION EVENT

The WorkBC Find Your Fit Tour is an interactive student based event taking place at Bayside Middle School on February 26, 2019 from 8:34am – 2:33pm for students and from 3:00pm - 7:00pm for students and parents. Students can jump right in and try the skills they’ll need for different careers in demand across the province. This hands-on event will help students apply real life experiences to their career planning, and connect with WorkBC’s labour market information, tools and services. Parents are also welcome to attend the evening event, as they look for ways to educate and support their children in their career exploration.
Drop in and explore the program and discover how to ‘find your fit’ for a career!
