Pink Shirt Day: Don’t forget to wear your PINK SHIRT ON WEDNESDAY! Need to get a pink shirt? No worries! Student Council will be selling a LIMITED NUMBER of pink shirts TODAY AND TOMORROW in the Gallery at Recess and Lunch. ONly $15 each there is a limited number so first come, first served.

Yearbooks: Hey Bayside - do you have your yearbook yet? You have until Spring Break to order. Several students missed out last year, so make sure that’s not you! Check the list in the office window to see if you have already ordered a book.

Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy: Parkland Secondary Hockey Academy is hosting a free skills ice session on Tuesday, March 12th , from 7:30 – 9:00 am. If you are a hockey player and are interested in attending this free event, please come get a permission form from Ms. Pettigrew in the office. There will be bus transportation back to Bayside after the session.

Boys Rugby: It is not too late to join rugby. All boys in Grade 6/7/8 come to practice with your mouth guards tomorrow at 2:45! Any questions ask Mr. Davidson.

Swim Club: Our Sharks swam a very successful championship meet on Sunday earning many ribbons and best times. Not only were our swimmers fast in the water they were polite, and kind on the pool deck. It has been a fantastic season. Thank you swimmers!

FIND YOUR FIT TOUR – A CAREER EXPLORATION EVENT

The WorkBC Find Your Fit Tour is an interactive student based event taking place at Bayside Middle School on February 26, 2019 from 8:34am – 2:33pm for students and from 3:00pm - 7:00pm for students and parents. Students can jump right in and try the skills they’ll need for different careers in demand across the province. This hands-on event will help students apply real life experiences to their career planning, and connect with WorkBC’s labour market information, tools and services. Parents are also welcome to attend the evening event, as they look for ways to educate and support their children in their career exploration.
Drop in and explore the program and discover how to ‘find your fit’ for a career!
