Terry Fox run – Next week, during yur PE class, we will be participating in a Terry Fox run around the school grounds. Please bring a $2 (toonie) next week for cancer research. Gr. 6's will be running Thursday. Gr. 7 & 8's will be running Wednesday.
Gr. 6 & 7 Junior Boys Basketball – Reminder of your practice on Tuesday at 7:30 am. See you in the gym.
Gr. 7/8 Girls Soccer – Reminder of your game after school TODAY. Meet on the top field at 2:45, cleats on.
Gr. 8 Boys Basketball – Tryouts begin TODAY after school in the gym from 2:45-4:15. See you there. See Mr. Stoehr with any questions.

Gr. 8 Band Students – Those who are going to the Whistler Band Festival are reminded to return permission forms and the deposit to Mrs. Aitchison by Oct. 15Th to ensure our booking with the travel agent. Extra permission forms are available in the bandroom and will be posted on the band website.
Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Clarinets (Clarinet and Bass Clarinet). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.

Attention Gr. 6 Parents: Immunization consent packages for grade 6 students have now been sent home. Students in grade 6 will be offered immunizations in school-based clinics with the consent of a parent(s) or representative. Please review and return your student’s consent package as soon as possible (Oct. 12Th is the deadline). If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Peninsula Health Unit at 250-544-2400 and ask to speak with a Public Health Nurse.
