Info for Students…
New Bayside Spiritwear is on sale now until October 16th! Display sample sizes will be in the Gallery at lunchtime on Wednesday and Thursday this week, plus after early dismissal each day. Ordering is online and details can also be found on the PAC page of the website.
Hot Lunch: Thurs. Oct. 26th – It's back! Spooky Spaghetti Hot Lunch returns to Bayside this month! Watch out for the posters and order forms arriving around the school this week. Deadline to place your order is Fri. Oct. 20Th!
Terry Fox run – During your PE block, we will be participating in a Terry Fox run around the school grounds. How many times can you make it around the school property? Please bring a $2 (toonie) next week to support cancer research. Gr. 7 & 8's will be running tomorrow and Gr. 6's will be running Thursday.
Girls Basketball – Reminder to all players of your practice TODAY after school. All Gr. 8 Players must attend if they want to play on the team this year. Questions, see Mr. Stoehr.
Gr. 7/8 Girls Soccer – Congralations on their victory over North Saanich in our exhibition game on Friday. Great keeping from Joanna and Isabella and stellar striking from Rhiannon.

Gr. 6 Boys Group to meet in S116 TODAY in Block 2.
From the Learning Commons – First group of library squad volunteers will start TODAY. Sylvie, Sophie, Wonsun, Quinna and Jillian. Please come to the L.C. at 12:30.
Also, there is a new staff pic/pick up in the L.C and on the display screen. Guess correctly and you can win free pizza on Thursday.
Gr. 8 Band Students – Those who are going to the Whistler Band Festival are reminded to return permission forms and the deposit to Mrs. Aitchison by Oct. 15Th to ensure our booking with the travel agent. Extra permission forms are available in the bandroom and will be posted on the band website.
Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Brass (French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, and Tuba). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
