Hello everyone,
There is a fantastic opportunity for our youth (and families) to access health care on the Peninsula through the Lower Island Action Team (LAT) for Children and Youth Mental Health and Substance Use Collaborative. During the Sidney Market, there will be an open walk in clinic for youth (see poster below for address). The location is at the bottom of Beacon, in the Cannery building. A GP that we work with on the LAT, Dr. Kate Evans, will be the physician on duty and there will also be access to mental health assessments/consults through a clinician or psychiatrist who will be on site during the clinic times.
