Hello everyone! We had two meetings in January to discuss a number of topics close to all of us at Bayside! Below are the first meeting minutes and the special meeting minutes will be posted separately. Please review both.
In particular, the PAC executive had a great, in-depth conversation around how to approve funding requests and the potential of going beyond the approved budget for the 2014/15 school year. As many of the PAC members are parents of Grade 8 students, it is imperative that more parents of younger students get involved as we go forward. We have a large budget and lots of funds to do some great things for our whole school but we need to make sound decisions together for the betterment of the whole student body!
We will be posting the approved budget here a second time for your review and to bring your thoughts to our next meeting.
Please try to come to February's PAC meeting on Tuesday, February 17th at 7:00 in the Library! We need everyone's opinion!
