Today 7-2 had FAAS, Math, Science and Social Studies
Today's word of the day is  "dogberry"
The Science that was due Friday should have been turned in Monday.

Social Studies:

Riddles of the sphinx Video - no homework

Math:   Page 141 Questions 1,2 due Tuesday

Other:  Youth in Action Team members are promoting the Vow of Silence, which will be  Wednesday, April 16th.
It costs $5.00 to participate and these students are silent for 5 hours (9:30-2:30) - just as we have done in past years.

Students bring their $5.00 on the morning of the event and there will be tables set up in each pod to register those who want to participate.
The students who participate will be wearing a sticker to indicate their involvement so that teachers know while participants are in class.
Students are still expected to participate in all class activities.

The money raised will be going towards Free the Children's Year of Education to help less fortunate children in other countries
by helping them to have a chance at getting an education.  We are aiming for at least $1000 with this campaign, as that is the
minimum of what we have raised in past years.

The purpose of this day is to make a statement about children in the world who don't have a voice to be able to speak up for their
own needs due to things like poverty, political issues, discrimination, child labour, etc.
