Info for Students…
- Plant-Stravaganza
Plan International Fundraiser: Did you know that you can get to know Elmer? Ask your
homeroom teacher to share his webpage with you. You can also email him if you
like. Bayside has now raised over $300 in donations. We need
to raise $500 in order to keep sponsoring our Sponsor child Elmer. Keep bringing in donations
to your Homeroom teacher. Every penny counts! You can donate online

fresh herbs and plants for all donations. Students will be coming around
to your class today to collect donations and give out plants and herbs. Our
School Goal is $2000 so we can sponsor more children. Go Sharks!
- Track
and Field: Next week’s track and
field events will be shot-put and the 200m and 400m runs. Running events are
Monday after school. Shot-put will be Tuesday morning at 7:30. Permission forms
must be brought to the practices. Please pick up permission forms from Mr.
Kovacs this week if you are planning to participate next week. See Mr. Kovacs
if you have further questions.
- Gender
Sexuality Alliance Club: The GSA club will be cancelled.
- Cross Country: A reminder that there is a
cross country run today after school at 2:45pm . Please meet at the shark,
ready to run.
- Basketball Skills Sessions: Grade 6 BOYS practice tomorrow. Don’t forget
your masks.
- Late Students: Teachers please remember
to have late students call down to 211 to sign in with Student Services.
- Bayside Clothing: Bayside clothing is now available! The PAC is
offering the option to purchase a Pullover Hoody or a Full Zip Hoody in Grey or
Black. Order Forms are on the website, please print and
return to your homeroom teacher. Orders due Friday, May 21.
- CPF Maple Syrup Fundraiser: Support our
SWEET fundraiser! All profits will
help us offer fun, French learning opportunities for our students in Saanich.
Treat your loved ones, or yourself, to our special maple syrup! Stock up
on our authentic, produced maple syrup - direct from Quebec - to enhance your
yummy breakfast, lunch or dinner treats! Order forms are on the website, drop
off orders with payment to the office before
May 14th.
