Basketball at Bayside: Skills
Sessions: Practice starts this week 2:45-4 pm.
All skill levels are welcome. Grade
8’s practice on Wednesday, Grade 7’s practice on Monday. Due to high
numbers the grade 6’s will be split into 2 groups alternating weeks.
Grade 6 boys will practice Thursday Apr 8, 22 and May 6 @ 2:45-4pm
Grade 6 girls will practice Thursday Apr 15, 29 and May 13 @ 2:45-4pm
Yearbooks: It’s that time of year, yearbooks are now on sale. Don’t wait to reserve your copy of Bayside’s 2020/2021 Yearbook! Make this year’s memories last a lifetime. Early Bird Pricing is only $18 if you order before April 15th, then $20 after. Order forms need to be filled out and handed-in with payment to your homeroom teacher. Don’t miss out!
Gender Sexuality Alliance Club: Mrs. K and Mrs. Tuck will be facilitating a Gender Sexuality Alliance club for students during first and second Lunch Recess on Wednesdays in the LC. GSAs are school clubs in which students can talk and learn about gender identity, sexual orientation, and some of the issues that surround them. All students are welcome.
PAC Fundraiser for Bayside: The PAC is hosting
an emergency preparedness fundraiser with Total Prepare. Emergency kits
and items available are listed on our website with an order form. Order
deadline is Apr. 23rd.
Face Masks Protocol: Masks are required to be worn while in school except when eating or drinking. Bayside Sharks THANK YOU for wearing your mask and keeping us all healthy. Students if you don’t have a mask please call home in homeroom.
Cellphones: Phones need to be put away in backpacks for the day.
Before and after school reminders: Reminder to students that in the morning, before the bell, you need to be going to your classroom door and after school if you are walking you need to be leaving right away.

Thrifty’s Smile Cards-Support the PAC: Get your Thrifty’s Bayside Smile Cards at the office today! Reload your card at Thrifty’s and the PAC get’s a 5% rebate. The money goes towards Bayside students.
