Info for Students…
- Lunch Pod Closure: The SOUTH Pod will be closed at lunch this week, 12:30 – 12:52.
- Best of Both Worlds Performance Tickets: The Grade 8 musical
is happening TODAY, March 11 at 7:00pm.
Tickets are on sale at the office.
Adults - $7.00 and Students - $5.00. All Gr. 6 & 7 students will see the show on
Thursday in block 1.
- Best of Both Worlds-Gr. 8 Musical: Block 3 – FULL CAST rehearsal. Reading Break and Block 4 – Final Dress
Rehearsal.
- Bayside
Shark Attack: Shark Attack is tomorrow! Remember to bring some lunch as there is a limited amount of pizza. Students
that preordered pizza reminder to bring money. There will also be candy bags
and chips available for purchase. Don’t forget your water bottle, warm clothes
& great school spirit!
- Bike
Raffle Tickets: Raffle
tickets will be on sale today at LUNCH
and at the Shark Attack. The winner will be drawn at intermission tomorrow!
- Lacrosse Balls: Attention all lacrosse ball owners. Please do
not ring your incredibly heavy, bouncy spheres to school. They will be
confiscated.
- Bayside
Volleyball Championship: Attention volleyball fans. Today at lunch is the school
championship match between the Grade 8 Girls BLACK team and the Grade 8 Boys BLUE
team. This should be a great match.
The winner of today’s match will play the teacher All-Stars on
Friday. A student team has not beaten
the teacher All-Stars since 1923 when Mr. Cook was the coach.
- Field Hockey: Any field hockey players that do not yet have a
stick and would like to practice over Spring Break see Ms. Alford in E117. Next
practice will be the first Tuesday after
Spring Break.
- Gr. 8 Boys Rugby: Attention grade 8 boys who wanted to play rugby
this year. Your new coach is holding a practice today and tomorrow so be there!
- Gr. 6/7 Boys Volleyball: Attention grade 6/7 boys volleyball players
please return your CLEAN/WASHED uniforms to Mr. T in S115 before the break.
- Yearbooks: Yearbook sales are on this week! Please drop off your
payment of $40 to the office this week (cheques to be made out to SD63). There
will be a printed list in the office for those who have already made a
purchase.
- Learning Commons: This week’s Learning Commons riddle winner has
been chosen: Congratulations to: Brandon B. in division 6-2 for guessing
correctly that the answer was: because the world is round! Brandon you win free
pizza tomorrow. Come to the LC to claim your prize. Look for our next riddle up
soon.
- Lost and Found: Lost and found will be left out for a couple
more days. Please stop by and see if any of your items are there.
- Band Announcements: No Calgary Festival Band Masterclass this
week.
- Lunch Club: Lego in West 116.
