Tennis Team: A big congratulations to the Bayside Tennis team for winning 2 out of 3 games at Friday’s tournament. Well done team!

Ultimate Frisbee: Meeting at lunch in W107. Practise is cancelled today at lunch. Next practise is Monday at Lunch.

Gr. 8 Bootcamp: Students interested in hearing about a Boot Camp at lunch starting mid October please see Mrs. MacDonald in the LC at 12:15 today.

Choir: Could Marimba xylophone and glockenspiel players for Choir please meet Ms. Lee in the Band room at recess today.

Youth in Action: Reminder to Youth in Action students to bring shoe boxes to our meeting tomorrow, Tuesday.

Band Announcements: Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Grade 8 Woodwinds. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Oct. 9 & 10 - The online booking system is now open to select a time to meet with your child's teachers. The booking system will close on Oct. 8 at 11:00pm (Please note: The Parent/Teacher Conferences should be given priority to homeroom students).
Please do the following steps to book a parent/teacher conference:-
Go to the website http://bayside.schoolappointments.com

Register - Parents click on the “Register” tab and fill in the registration form to create an account. Once parents have successfully registered, they can login to the system and then must register their students by name.

Select Teachers - Parents can schedule appointments by clicking on the “Appointments” button beside the student’s name. Select the teachers with whom they wish to meet.

Teacher Calendars - Parents are shown the calendar with appointment times that are available & unavailable for booking. Select an appointment times by clicking the check boxes, the box will turn green when selected. If no appointments are available, click on the call back button at the top of the list.

Appointments Booked Successfully - Once the appointments are booked the screen will display the list of appointments for the student.

Calgary Nationals Parent Meeting: There will be a parent meeting for grade 8 Band parents of students going to the Calgary Nationals in the Band Room on Tues. Oct 8 @ 6pm. All parents please attend, we will be discussing fundraising, payment schedule and the itinerary. Please email Ms. Aitchison at aaitchison@saanichschools.ca if you cannot attend.
