Donations of gently used books suitable for children aged birth to 5 years.
(ex. Board books, storybooks, picture books)
NO NOVELS, please!
Your book donations will be given to young children
on the Saanich Peninsula
who don't have books of their own at home.
**Research shows that children who have access to books and/or
are read to (1000 books) by the time they are 5 years old, will become more literate when they are older!**
Let’s help to raise readers in our community!!
A class treat will be given to the class in each pod
that donates the most books.
