Bayside Quebec Cultural week February 2020
(This program is for students who are NOT enrolled in French Immersion)
STUDENT MEETING: Thursday, February 7th at recess in Mme Shuh's room (East 114)
If you are currently an English student in grade 6 or 7, you are a possible candidate to attend the first ever Quebec French Cultural week for students that are not enrolled in French Immersion.
The week will be catered towards an anglophone group. It will be an intensive week of learning French and French Canadian culture. This is not a vacation, but an educational program. You will be expected to make an effort to communicate basic needs in French. Our group monitors have very limited English speaking skills, therefore you must be willing and committed to making an effort to listen and participate.
The trip will take place: Saturday, February 1st- Saturday, February 8th 2020
You will be flying to Quebec City and staying at l’auberge du Mont, http://www.aubergedumont.qc.ca/eng/ in Valcartier, Quebec, about 30 minutes from old Quebec City.
