Band

Tomorrow the students come to school at their normal time, sign in at homeroom and then head to the band room for a quick rehearsal. We board the bus around 9:30 and drive to Cathedral Grove. Students will have about 45 minutes to eat and stretch their legs in groups. Then we board the bus for the festival. When we arrive they will have time to change, hear some bands, then we perform and get adjudicated. Right after we are done we will head back to the bus (after they change back into their regular clothes) to head down for dinner at the mall. Looks like we will be eating in Port Alberni as opposed to Nanaimo as originally planned since the mall will be closed by the time we are passing that area. Students will eat fast food...so likely only need $10-15  to eat. We arrive back at Bayside no later than 8:30pm. Busy, full day.
