SCIENCE
This week we are wrapping up our unit on Basic Nutrition and will be starting on Newton's Laws next week. Due this week are the 2-Day Food Journal (this must be "shared" with me by Friday of this week). In addition, students must also hand in their small "Good Food vs Bad Food" poster, as well as complete their latest assignment focusing on alternate foods which will be shared with the class on Wednesday, February 1st.
MATH
We are currently working on graphs this week, specifically Bar Graphs. small project will start on Tuesday, January 24th which will be due on Wednesday, January 25th. We will continue with other graphs for the rest of the week.
HUMANITIES
We are continuing with our focus on Rights of the Child, reading the novel "Iqbal" and working on a variety of mini assignments each day in a Journal.
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Bayside is involved in the 1000x5 Book Drive which means we are looking for donations of books suitable for children aged 0-5 years. If you have any, please send them with your student - deadline is Thursday, January 26th.
