Today 7-2 had Faas, PE, Science and Social Studies.
 
Today's word of the day is  "neolithic"  Yesterday's word was, "surly."

Social Studies:

Today we watched The Rise of Man video and made notes on a 3 column chart.  -No homework.

6 pairs of fortunately / unfortunately statements. Due last Friday

Dictionary page: Due last Wednesday.

Hammurabi's Code.  Complete the handout for last Monday.

Math:

Handout Page 53/54 Due Thursday

We have started Math Reflex.  Each child has a password and all are encouraged to participate in this program at home. Email me if you have forgotten your password.


Language Arts:

Grammar lesson 25 due Thursday
Paragraph:  "Whales" is past due.  Many did not complete this.
1 "ly" adjective per sentence. 
1 "because" clause
1 "which"  clause
All of these elements should be underlined in red  (not the 3 words you picked for your notes.
 
Other: FSA's are coming.  If you want to practice the FSA at home, you can do so by click on the link on the Bayside Website: Sample FSA.  Then select School District 63, grade 7 numeracy (or grade 7 Reading) then click the Logon button at the bottom of the page.  Finally, click YES on the next page and the practice test will start.
