Today 7-2 had FAAS,SENCOTEN or French, and a work block. There is no homework for the weekend.
The word of the day is "cenotaph." We also had our Remembrance Day ceremony. I hope to see some of you on Monday at the local cenotaph.
During the work block, students chose between Math reflex, story-writing, finishing overdue work or tests, and working on a contest entry.
The contest is for the Royal Canadian Legion and there are 4 categories to chose from. A maximum 500-word essay, a maximum 32-line poem, a colour poster, or a black and white poster. The posters should be no larger than 56 by 71cm. (Most are quite a bit smaller.)
