Info for Students…
- Late Students: Reminder to students if
you are late or need to leave early go to Student Services to sign in or out
with Ms. Percy.
- Masks: Masks are required to be
worn by students at all times. You do not have to wear your mask outside
or when you are eating and drinking alone at your desk. Sharks please
remember to bring your masks every day.
- Masks for Sale: Bayside Masks are available for sale, $10. We have order forms
available at the office or

- Open House: Bayside Open House will be Tuesday October 5th 4:00-5:00pm for new families. This is a chance for families to see the physical space in the school. Classrooms and areas of the school will be open for access. Since teachers may not be available for the Open House we encourage you to sign up to meet your child’s teacher during our parent/teacher conferences. These conferences will be held on our early closure days October 13th and 14th which will give families an opportunity to meet individually with their child’s teacher.
- Ultimate: Reminder to all players of your final practice tomorrow after school from 2:45-3:45pm.
- Gym Closed: The big gym will be closed TODAY at lunch. Everyone will be outside today.
- Gay Straight Alliance Club: GSA club will meet for the first time this year on Wednesday at recess in South 108, Mr. Kovacs' classroom.
- PAC Hoodie Orders: Teachers please send down all hoodie orders to the office.
- Traffic Safety: Reminder to students that Newton Place and the roads around our school are very busy, today is election day and we have a polling station here at Bayside. Make sure you are paying attention and please do not ride your bike, scooter or skateboard on the school property.
Info for Parents…
- Gr. 6 Immunizations: Recently immunization consent packages for grade 6 students
were sent home from the school. If you have not already done so, please return
the completed consent form to the school in a sealed envelope by October 6,
2021. Students in grade 6 will be offered immunizations in school-based clinics
with the consent of a parent/guardian/representative. Immunizations will be
provided at the school for grade 6 students on November 2, 2021.
