Info for Students…
- Dodgeball: Dodgeball at second outside lunch today. Everyone welcome! Dodgeball for first outside lunch will be coming.
- Student
Packages: Teachers, please send a runner to the office for
student packages if you have not picked up yet.
Student packages are to be distribute today.
- FAAS
& PE Schedules: FAAS & PE rotation starts today.
- Mask
Requirements: Masks are required to be worn by students at all
time. You do not have to wear your mask outside or when you are eating
and drinking alone at your desk.
- Gr. 8 Rowing: Grade 8’s if you are interested in rowing there is a come and try event this Sunday from 12-4 at Elk Lake that is open to anybody as a chance to check out what rowing is all about. People just need to show up, and we will expose them to rowing, takes about 45 minutes in total. Open to all grade 8’s but aimed at potential youth rowers.
Info for Parents…
- Traffic: Traffic on
Newton Pl, Wallace Dr, Marin Park Dr and Shiner Pl is congested during before
and after school, we require your patience and watch your speed. Please be
respectful of our neighbors driveways by not blocking at any time and their
lawn when pick up and dropping off your students. Be aware of pedestrians
and our crossing guard, encourage your children to always use the crosswalks to
get across the road to school. Also, we ask that parents are not accessing the
staff parking lot during these busy times as it increases congestion.
- Bus Registration: Reminder that all bus students need to register with transportation at https://www.sd63.bc.ca/programs-and-services/transportation. Bus passes will be distributed once transportation prints over the coming weeks.
