Info for Students…
Bayside Spirit Days: Pink Shirt Day is this Wednesday, February 24th. Show your support for Pink Shirt Day and wear PINK. Friday, wear your pyjamas to school. Yes, every Friday til Spring Break is COMFY COZY PJ DAY!!!! That’s right! Bring on the flannel and fleece. We are taking casual Fridays to a whole new level!
Face Masks for Sale: Bayside Sharks face masks are now
available. $10 each. Order forms are on the website. Please fill out the
order form and give to your homeroom teacher with payment. Go Sharks!
Closure Areas: Field is closed today. 8-2/8-4 and 6-7, you need to be at the Shark at recess and can have the area from the Shark to the basketball at lunch. East Pod forest area (across from basketball hoops) is closed due to flooding and extremely muddy area.
Virtual Book Fair: March 1-12, access Russell Book’s new book fairs website to order from their hand selected, specialty stock of books online at https://bookfair.russellbooks.com/ or visit Russell Books for their full selection. Just let the cashiers know what school you are with!
Volleyball: Gr. 8 volleyball practice is today after school from 2:45 to 4:15 pm.
Cell Phones: Phones need to be put away in backpacks for the day.
Late Students: Teachers please remember to have late students call down to 211 to sign in with Student Services.
Face Masks: Masks are now required to be worn while in school except under the following situations: when at your desk or workspace, or when eating or drinking. They continue to be mandatory in all common areas, including hallways, washrooms, computer labs & the LC. Bayside Sharks THANK YOU for wearing your mask and keeping us all healthy. Students if you don’t have a mask please call home in homeroom.
Before and After School Reminders: Reminder to students that in the morning, before the bell, you need to be going to your classroom door and after school if you are walking, you need to be leaving right away.
