Info for Students…
- Fabulous Festive Fun Food Five $$$: Hello Bayside, thank you to all those who have
already donated to Santa’s Anonymous and the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.
- Saanich Peninsula Lion’s
Food Bank – We
have brought in over 1300 items. Way to go Bayside! Bayside’s school goal is to bring
in 3000 items. Don’t forget to record what your division brings in on
the tally sheets in the gallery. Please put heavier items like cans in the big
bins. Please put lighter items like school snacks in the boxes on the benches
in the gallery. Today’s special item for the 12 Days of Christmas giving is pasta sauce!
Monday’s
special item is RICE. Help us build our snowman in the gallery. He has
buttons, a scarf and arms but he needs a face. Keep bringing in those
donations!
- Santa’s
Anonymous -
Donate to Santa’s Anonymous and help our community have a happy
holiday. Donations of any size would be greatly appreciated! Bayside’s
school goal is to raise $3000 for Santa’s Anonymous. We have already raised over $2200.
Wow! Way to go Bayside! Our Christmas tree is almost decorated. For
every $100, we put on another Christmas decoration. Just $800 to make it to the
star at the top of the tree. Check it out in the Gallery! The class that brings in the most donations
will win a Christmas Treat.

- Next Week School Spirit Events: Next week are some fun School Spirit events.
- Thursday, December 10 is PJ Day – Wear your comfiest and your slippers (Division with the most jammies will win a treat that day).
- Friday, December 11 is Ugly Christmas Sweater Day
-Show some spirit with a sweater adorned with all the holiday fancys.
- Magazines Needed: Families if you are clearing out magazines in
good condition please donate to the art program. We are needing magazines to be
used for art projects. Magazines can be drop off in the bin located at the
front door.
- Student Safety: Students please remember before or after school to be
very careful on Newton Place. There are lots of cars and buses. We need to use
our crosswalks and be watching as we cross the road.
- Lost and Found: Students please check the lost and found tables for
any items that you may have lost. Thanks to Trista and Jenna for setting up the
tables.
- Found: Gold water bottle found. Come to the office to claim.
