Notice from Island Health regarding Grade 6 Immunization Clinics
Grade 6 students who would normally have completed their immunizations at school in the spring are now due for their second doses of vaccine. As COVID restrictions have limited our opportunity to do this at school, Public Health Nurses from Island Health have partnered with Saanich Baptist Church (SBC) to ensure we offer this essential service at an alternate location. Please attend one of the below clinics:
Thurs June 18: SBC Wilkinson Road Campus, times per table below
4347 Wilkinson Road
Fri June 19: SBC Centennial Park Campus, times per table below
7577 Wallace Drive
Parents (or an adult designated by you) may bring your student at the assigned time according to last name. This will help us provide service quickly and avoid line-ups. If you are unable to attend at the assigned time, please contact your school nurse.

10:00 – 11:00

To ensure safety, please complete the BC COVID-19 Self Assessment Tool prior to the clinic.
Only students whose parents/guardians signed a permission/consent form last fall will be immunized. Please wear a short-sleeved shirt and bring a snack or juice for after the immunizations.
We thank you for helping us to keep your child’s immunizations up to date. If you have any questions, please contact your school’s Public Health Nurse at the Peninsula Health Unit 250-544-2400.
