- Lunch Pod Closure: The WEST Pod will be closed at lunch this week, 12:30 – 12:52.
- Bayside GREY Gr. 7 Girls
Comp Volleyball Team: A HUGE CONGRATS goes out to the Bayside
Grey Grade 7 Girls competitive volleyball team for playing so well at the
playoffs yesterday and for placing 6th overall in the league out of 24 teams.
They were also the top grade 7 team in the grade 7 / 8 league!!! Way to go,
girls! You have had such an awesome season!! A reminder to the team to come to
the multi-purpose room at 2:45 for our team awards ceremony and wrap-up party.

8 Girls Volleyball Team: Well done to both
the Bayside Black and Blue Grade 8 girls volleyball teams for a strong final
jamboree yesterday at Arbutus. You all played with skill and
sportsmanship. It’s never easy playing
against your friends and classmates but you all did a great job.
- Best of Both Worlds-Gr. 8
Musical: Reading Break-Costumes for Danica, Rupunzel, Goldilock, Gretel,
Rumpelstiltskin, Jill, Mary Mary, Gloria, Sadie, Mercy and Clemency. Only these
11 students please. Block 4-FULL CAST – We will pick-up at scene 9.
- Volleyball: Attention volleyball fans. This week’s lunchtime volleyball
match will take place today at lunch between the Grade 8 Boys Blue team and
the Grade 7 Girls Grey team. A grade 7 team has not beaten a grade 8 team
since the famous Sharks team of 1924.
This is the school semi-final and the winner of today’s match will be in
the school final next week for a chance to play the teacher all stars.
Come to the gym at lunch and cheer on your favourite Shark!
- Boys Rugby: Hey sports fans! Are you on the boys rugby
under 130lbs team? If you need to give your email to Mr. Cook he will be on the
rugby field at RECESS.
- Tennis Team: If you are attending this Friday’s meet with
Mr. Kovacs, meet in South 108 at recess
today.
- Bike Raffle: Raffle tickets for the Opus Mullard trail bike
generously donated by Brentwood Cycle are on sale in the gallery at lunch, $2 each. Winner will be drawn at
intermission at the Shark Attack, March 12th.
- Skills Canada Competitors: Meet in the Tech Ed room at lunch for final registration for Friday’s
trip.
- Girls Field Hockey: Players your first practice will be Monday after school in the gym. See Ms.
Alford if you have not received a permission form yet.
- Ping Pong Tournament: Continues
at lunch tomorrow.
- Band Announcements: Gr. 8 Calgary Festival Band.
- Lunch Club: Girls Group is cancelled today.
- Pizza: Pizza is TODAY at lunch in the MPR. Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian and Gluten-free available. $3 per slice or 2 for $5. Don’t miss out!
