Info for Students…
- Lunch Pod Closure: The East Pod will be closed at lunch this week, 12:30 – 12:52.
- Best of Both Worlds-Gr. 8 Musical: Reading Break – Rehearsal
for anyone who missed “curtain call” yesterday. Block 4 – Regular block 4
class.

8 Girls Volleyball Teams: Congratulations to the Grade 8 Girls Blue Team for
winning 3 out of the 4 sets at Landsdowne. However the Gr. 8 Girls Black Team
had a tough afternoon and lost 3 out of 4 sets. Lets bounce back next week!
- Gr. 7 Girls Grey Volleyball Team: Great
games for our Grade 7 girls yesterday where they played tough against ROMS and
tied the match. In our second match, they beat Spencer. Awesome job, girls!!
Also, a BIG kudos to Jacob P in Mr. Kovacs’ class for doing such a fantastic
job of the scorekeeping. Thanks Jacob!
Reminder to the girls of our practice
right after school TODAY, and that we will be having a quick team meeting at 12:15 today in W111. Please get there right away at lunch.

Volleyball Fans: Come to the gym today at lunchtime to watch a great matchup between the Grade 8
Blue girls team and the Grade 8 Green boys team. Come cheer on your
favourite Shark. The best student team
will play the teacher all stars in 2 weeks.
- Swim Club: Attention swim club members - there will be an important meeting Friday at lunch
in the Large Conference Room.
- Band Announcements: Gr. 8 Calgary Festival Band.
- Lunch Club: Girls Group in C105 (Large Conference Room).
- Pizza: Pizza lunch in TODAY at
lunch in the MPR. Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian and Gluten-free available. $2 per
slice or 2 for $5. Don’t miss out!
- CPF Maple Syrup Fundraiser: Canadian Parents for French
Annual Maple Syrup Fundraiser - Orders Due FEB 28. Last call to order.
Order forms are in the office. Submit your completed orders to the office
(cheque payable to CPF Saanich) no later than Friday, Feb 28.CPF uses the profits from this activity to
fund fun French activities in our Saanich schools.
- Lost and Found: Lost and Found is displayed on the tables in front of the office. Lots of jackets, shirts and pants that need to be reunited with their owner.
