Gr. 6/7 Girls Basketball: Congratulations to the two girls basketball teams that played extremely well in their jamborees yesterday at Bayside and Gordon Head Middle! We are proud of you for playing a great season! There will be a pizza party next week to celebrate, more details to come.

Gr. 7/8 Girls Basketball: Attention all grade 7/8 girls basketball players. Please bring your washed jerseys to Mr. Stoehr in E106 by the end of this week please.

Swim Team: Attention Bayside Students. Do you enjoy swimming? The school swim team starts practices next week at Panorama. Come to Mr Stoehr’s classroom which is E106 anytime this week to pick up your permission form. Any questions, please ask.

Bayside Yearbook 2019-2020 Title Page Contest: Bonjour, we are making a call out to all Bayside artists for this year’s Bayside yearbook.
Our Bayside yearbook theme has been selected: Inspirations from Dr. Suess
We are currently accepting title pages cover designs. The page is 8 x 11 (which is a regular paper size) and must be captivating, bold and beautiful!
Theme: Inspirations from Dr. Seuss
Please submit your application to Mme Shuh by Friday, December 6th.

Band Announcements: Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Grade 6 Trumpets. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.

Pizza: Pizza lunch is tomorrow during lunchtime. Pepperoni, Cheese, Hawaiian and Gluten-free available. $3 per slice or 2 for $5. Don’t miss out!

Russell Book Fair: The Bayside & Russell Book Fair is coming soon - Tuesday, December 10-Thursday, December 12. Used & new books and a variety of toys will be available to buy with cash, debit, or credit cards.
Teachers, please sign up your classes for book fair times. The fair will be open at recess, lunch, and after school until 3pm and parents and families are invited to stop in to do some holiday gift buying. All sales benefit the Learning Commons.

Grade 6 Immunizations: Please note that an immunization clinic for Grade 6 students (previously cancelled) will be held at school on Dec 2. Only students who returned a consent form earlier this year will be immunized. If you have not returned a form or communicated your wishes to public health, please call 250-544-2400 to discuss and/or schedule an appointment.
