Congratulations to the grade 8 Band students who played in the Musical Sleigh Ride concert last night with the Sidney Concert Band. Together we raised $1500 towards the Bayside, Royal Oak and North Saanich music programs. Special mention goes out to: Ava W., Natalie G., Isabel H., Julianna S., Lily L. And Danyel H.

Congratulations to the grade 7/8 girls for winning the city semi finals yesterday versus Monterey. Bayside now plays in the city finals tomorrow vs. St. Michaels. Good luck tomorrow, you’ve had an amazing season.

Hey Bayside...We are pulling together this week to gather donations so that we can make Holiday HAMPERS HELPING Bayside Families in Need.
During this week and up to Dec. 11Th, we are collecting donations to make Christmas hampers for Families of students at Bayside who are in need of support over the holidays.
Please ask your teacher for one of the small envelopes and consider donating CASH or GROCERY STORE GIFT CARDS, including Walmart.
Any amount would be amazing and all proceeds go towards helping families in our our Bayside community.
Youth in Action students will be coming around to classrooms during this campaign to collect donations from homerooms. So you can give your donation to your homeroom teacher.

The Girl’s Club will be having a Christmas Kindness bake sale in the canteen today at recess and lunch. Bring your $ money.

Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for Grade 7 Brass and Percussion. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
