An important message from the Learning Commons: Anyone using the computers during recess and lunch will need to sign in first. Please see Mrs. S. for the sign in sheet. A reminder that computers are only for homework, or they will be shut down for the rest of the week. Thanks for respecting this rule.

Congratulations to the grade 8 rowing team for an outstanding performance this weekend at the October Sprints Regatta. They placed 1st in numerous events, beating out Royal Oak! Great racing Bayside!

Band 8 students wishing to attend the Whistler Band Festival trip, please make sure your deposit is in to Mrs. A by Tuesday, Oct 16th.

Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for Grade 6 Flutes. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.

We will be participating in an earthquake drill on October 18 at 10:18 am, "millions of people worldwide will practice how to “Drop, Cover and Hold On” during Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills. British Columbians can join by registering for the 2018 Great British Columbia ShakeOut."
