Did you know that the niece of a teacher here at Bayside is competing at the Olympics in Speed Skating for Canada? If you know the athlete's name and the teacher's name, come see Mr. Stoehr for a prize this morning. Only two prizes available.
Thank you Bayside, for your amazing support of our Book Drive. With your help we surpassed our goal and have collected 1040 books! The top classes in each pod were:
East – Mme Shuh's 6-5 with 109 books
South – Mrs. Huck's 6-4 with 127 books
West – Mrs. Tuck's 8-9 with 132 books
The Youth in Action team will be baking your cookies soon for the winning divisions! Thanks again Bayside!
Speedball – Come check out a hot new game at lunch TODAY in the gym with Mr. Davidson and Mr. Kovacs. Speedball is here. Everyone welcome.
Valentine's Day decorating contest - Today is the last day to finish decorating your doors for tomorrow's contest. Student Council kids will come around tomorrow morning to judge your “door”. Therefore, please ensure that your “door” is ready to go for tomorrow morning. Prizes are donuts or pizza.

Gr. 8 Band Students – Any of you wanting to participate in the Whistler lip sync contest must show Mrs. Aitchison your act on Friday at lunch.
Band Announcements – Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 7 Combined Band. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
