Info for Students…
For the rest of January, the Youth in Action team is collecting gently used children's books for the 1000 x 5 project here on the Saanich Peninsula. This is an annual project and Bayside has donated over 5500 books so far. Our goal this year is to donate another 1000 books! If you have books to donate, pleaes bring them to your homeroom and we will collect them. Thank you.
Twin Day - On Monday, Jan 22nd show your Bayside spirit by dressing up for Twin Day! Triplets, quads, and quintes can join too! Organize with your besties to dress up for twin day on Mon Jan 22nd. Dress up and win the parade of twins to win Mayfair dollars.
Survivor – It is not too late to join Survivor. Bring your $15 for Survivor to Mr. Kovacs today or tomorrow. Action starts tomorrow at lunch. See Mr. Kovacs if you have any questions.
Gr. 8 Girls Rec Volleyball – Reminder of your first practice tomorrow at 2:45 – 4:00 pm in the gym. See you there.
Challenge By Choice Students – There is no Challenge By Choice this week. On Wednesday, please go to your PE class.

Band Announcements – Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 7 Combined Band. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/ music and pencil.
