Candy Grams are coming to town. This Bayside tradition starts TODAY and goes till Friday. Come to the gallery at recess and lunch to purchase candy grams. You can send holiday messages and a sweet treat to your friends and the Student Council elves will deliver your holiday wishes next week. $0.50 each or 3 for $1. Sale ends Friday.
Our local Central Saanich Police are having their 1st 'Cram the Cruiser' Christmas Drive. They have asked for help to donate toys for local children in need. All week we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children aged 2-12. Please bring any donations to W108 anytime this week and let's help CRAM THE CRUISER!
Silent Auction - Don't forget to tell your family & friends about the Silent Auction happening the night of the Band concert. It's a great way to do some Christmas shopping and support our students going to Quebec.
Bake Sale – The Band department is hosting a bake sale on the night of their Winter Concert (Wed, Dec 13th). There will be festive treats to enjoy that night, as well as take away containers for your holiday entertaining. Families supplying the baking, please send the goodies to Mrs. Aitchison's office for storage. All proceeds will support the Gr. 8 Band trip to Whistler.
Bayside is collecting donations for families in our community in need over the holiday season and all throughout the year. Each member of the Bayside community will be given an envelope to bring in a donation if you are able. Please put a small donation of money or a grocery gift card in the envelope and return it to the PAC box in the office, by Thursday, December 14th. Even a little goes a long way! Thank you!
Interested in purchasing some Bayside gear for Christmas this year? There will be Bayside rowing toques on sale in the Shark Shop at lunch all week for $25. All proceeds will go to the rowing team to help them purchase a cox box and microphone set.
Div 83 & 84 students are working on business projects all week and may be promoting their sales:
Pancake Breakfast return on Wed before school, 8-8:30. $2 for one, $3 for two. Come support Chef EJ and the team from Div 84.
Make sure to bring your money to support Bubbly Basics on Wed Dec 13th before the Band concert. If you miss us, we are also selling Thurs and Fri at lunch in the gallery. Soaps sell for $3 and lip scrubs sell for $2. Enter our free draw at the table. See you there.
Gr. 6 & 7 Boys Volleyball – Those interested are to meet TODAY in S114 at recess.
Gr. 8 Boys Volleyball – There will be a short but important meeting for all Gr. 8 Boys interested in playing volleyball for Bayside TODAY at lunch in E106.

Calling all Drummers – If you want to learn how to tune and change your snare drum head skin, come to music room at lunch to a clinic by resident rock drummer Mr. Cook.
Instrumental Masterclass during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Saxophones. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
