Please remind and encourage your child to complete their band karate playing tests by the end of next week (Nov 24). I am available at lunch during mentorship from 12:30-12:45pm daily, as well students can perform these tests during class, or masterclass. If they are still feeling worried, an email video recording will suffice, though I won't be able to give immediate feedback with regards to helping them make improvements as necessary. My email address is: aaitchison@sd63.bc.ca. Students are to complete all three tests: White (Concert Bb), Yellow (Concert Ab), and Orange (Concert C). If a student isn't satisfied with their letter grade they are able to re-test after they've had a chance to practice.
They should be practicing concert pieces for our winter concert (mandatory) Weds Dec 13 at 7pm. Holiday Bobsled, Cartoon Christmas, and Hope Everlasting. As well they are preparing little christmas duets/trios to perform for the grade 6 homeroom classes.
