PAC Hot Lunch Day – MPR will be open for those participating in our PAC Hot Lunch Day.
Love Halloween? Come to Claremont Secondary School this Thursday or Friday night for the “Scream Fest”, a night of Halloween fun. Tickets will be sold at lunch in the centre foyer TODAY and tomorrow. Tickets are $10. Tickets can also be purchased from Mr. Davidson, Ms. Fellows, and Ms. Hill. Hope to see you there.
Halloween Social Afternoon – Don't forget to dress up on Tuesday for our Halloween Social Afternoon! You can win Mayfair dollars at our Parade of Costumes in the gym at lunch. We will have a superific scary dance party ($3 with a can of food or $4 without) and other fun activities throughout the school! So show your school spirit and dress up!!
Wrist bands for the dance will be sold at the Shark Shop on Tues Oct 31st in the morning and in the gallery at recess and lunch. Reminder: $3 with a can of food and $4 without.
Gr. 8 Boys Basketball – Good try “versing” Cedar Hill basketball yesterday. We'll get 'em next time!

From the Learning Commons – The winner of our Staff Pic/Pick of the week is Emma S in 6-6, who correctly guessed the picture of Mr. Cook. Emma, your free pizza prize can be collected next week.
Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Flute & Percussion (Flute and Glockenspiel). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
Info for Parents...
Attention Gr. 6 Parents: Immunization consent packages for grade 6 students were sent home the first week of October. They are now overdue. If you have not completed your student’s consent form indicating your wishes (YES or NO), please do so and return it to the school in its sealed envelope by the end of this week. Only students with parental consent will be immunized. Please contact the Peninsula Health Unit at 250-544-2400 and ask to speak with a Public Health Nurse if you have any questions.
