Info for Students…

Some concerns last week regarding student behavious at all Grade levels. It involves rough-housing and pushing/shoving behaviours. Please note this is not acceptable and will not be tolerated. This involves games with pushing/shoving, hallway pushing and bumping or pushing students into washrooms etc. Students were hurt last week and some did receive medical attention. A safe school begins with you Bayside students. Let's work together to ensure safety for all.

Gr. 7 & 8 students are not permitted to be in school locker bays or hallways unless they are in the library or Ms. Pettigrew's room until 8:22 am. This includes Gr. 6 students who are in the library.

CPF Annual Magazine Fundraiser commences today and runs to Sep. 27^th. Packages will be sent home with students. Help us make a difference in supporting both Core French and French Immersion activities.

Gr. 8 Student Council – Meeting Thurs at 12:30 in S107
Soccer - All students and staff interested in soccer this year are asked to attend a meeting TODAY at recess in Mr. Kovacs' room in South Pod.
Cross-Country running – Attention all students who are interested in participating on the cross-country running team this year. There will be a meeting tomorrow at recess in room E114. Practices will start Wednesday after school.
Rowing – If you are interested in joining the Bayside rowing team this fall, please come to room S116 for a meeting tomorrow at lunch with Miss Bevan. You do not need to have any prior experience to join the team.
From the Learning Commons – The LC is now open before school 8-8:30; at recess, and at lunch 12:30-1. Computers can be used for games only before school; at recess and lunch they must be used for homework. There will be no charge for printing from the library printer.
Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Saxophones (Alto, Tenor, and Bari). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
