Masterclass is an opportunity for students to work in instrument specific groups to practice skills pertinent to their instrument. From Sept 11- Dec winter break during silent reading, grade 6&7 students will practice together once each week during silent reading. Grade 7's will be helping to mentor the grade 6's. All students will bring their own instrument, pencil, and band book to masterclass.
Monday- saxophones
Tuesday- brass (French horn, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba, and bass guitar)
Wednesday- all Grade 8's for combined bands masterclass
Thursday- flutes and percussion (glockenspiel and snare drum)
Friday- clarinets and bass clarinets
