Good luck to all students writing the Gauss Math contest today. Please bring a pencil and calculator to the Learning Commons, right after announcements.
Congratulations Bayside, you have elected the Green Party for the riding of Saanich North and the Islands. Results are as follows: Independent 25 votes, Liberal 45 votes, NDP 130 votes, Green Party 264 votes. Thank you for particpating in the Democratic process.
Lost shoes – Black and white Adidas sneakers, size 5 or 6. Last seen in the girls locker room on Tuesday during Block 1. Has an orange sticker with JKL initialled on the tounge of the shoes. Please return to the office if found.

Rugby – Girls Rugby practice after school. Rugby fans: The Junior Boys play their last home games against Shoreline and North Saanich.
Quebec Meeting – All students attending the Quebec Trip must attend a mandatory meeting tomorrow at lunch in Mme Shuh's room.
“Charleston” performers – The DVD's are in! If you ordered one, please bring your $20 to Mrs. Benetti and pick up your copy.

From the Learning Commons – Last Friday, 14 Bayside students participated in the history fair down at the Royal BC Museum. We are pleased to announce that Thomas J, Percilla S, and the team of Quinna and Wonsun all won individual awards. The team of Riley N, Jakai D, and Gavin G, and the team of Sylvie M, Jillian B, and Sophie N all got honourable mentions. All of our Bayside representatives are to be congratulated for representing our school so well.

Band Announcements – Instrumental Mastercalss sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 8 Combined Band. Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
