Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday is Pink Shirt Day. We encourage everyone to wear something pink to show that we are all working together to prevent bullying in our schools, communities, and online. Pink Shirt Day comes from two Nova Scotia high school students who decided to take a stand against bullying in their own school. Join in by wearing pink on Feb. 22nd. “Wear pink cuz bullying stinks!” No pink shirt you say? No problem. Today at lunch in the Gallery, Student Council will be selling: Pinks shirts for $10, Pink Wrist Bands for $2, Pink Draw String Bags for $5. The last day to purchase these items will be Wed Feb 22nd so hurry before they are all gone!
Yearbooks – Reminder to order your yearbook before Spring Break as the price goes up from $35 to $40 after that. Be sure to check in the office window to see if you have ordered yet.
The Bayside Spelling “B” is on Thursday, March 16th. Sign up in the library. Everyone welcome. See Mr. Kovacs or Mrs. Lindsay if you have any questions.
Ziegfeld Dancers – Please meet Mrs. Benetti at USSR TODAY to try on costumes.
Skills Canada Competitors – Come to the Tech Ed room at lunch for a short meeting and field trip forms.
Gr. 7 & 8 Students who signed up to play hockey with Stelly's/ Parkland Hockey Academy, please attend a brief meeting at the beginning of recess in the conference room.
Student Council – Meeting in Mme Levesque's class at 12:30 Thursday.
A reminder from the Learning Commons – During lunch hour the library computers are for homework only. No Minecraft or other games during this time.

Band Announcements – Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Combined Gr. 7 Band (all Gr. 7 students). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/music and a pencil.
