Survivor starts today at 12:20. You can still see Mr Kovacs at recess today for your last chance to participate. Spectators welcome at lunch. Please remember, no food in the gym.

The Youth in Action team and the Learning Commons are holding 2 contests to celebrate Family Literacy Day and to support the 1000x5 project! You can help by donating gently used children's books which will be donated to the project here on Saanich Peninsula. The class with the most books donated will win a plate full of cookies made by the Youth in Action team. Bring in your books now until Jan. 26th.
From the Learning Commons – in addition to our ongoing BINGO contest, we have two more new things happening. We are selling school supplies at ridiculously low prices, come in and check it out! Plus, do you like working on jigsaw puzzles? The coffee table in the LC is now a Jigsaw puzzle centre, where you can work on them at recess and lunch. Come in and see our first puzzle featuring some of your favourite comic book characters.
Just a reminder, PLEASE no food or drinks in the LC before school, or at recess and lunch.

Band Announcements – Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for the Gr. 6 & 7 Brass (trumpet, french horn, trombone, baritone). Students need to bring their instrument, band book/ music and pencil.
