Info for Students…

  • Next week's announcers will be Alex A & Nick V

  • Halloween is here on Monday! Dress up and join the parade of costumes and attend one of the many activities. There will be a Halloween Spooktacular Dance with special treats sold at the Shark Shop. Wrist bands to be sold on Monday for $3 with a can of food and $4 without. Happy Halloween!

  • Reminders for Halloween: No weapons or weapon replicas, no full face masks, no inappropriate (risqué/ revealing, violent or excessively gory) outfits. No clown costumes or anything resembling a clown costume (due to the recent clown safe schools letter sent out). No interfering with others' costumes or with people themselves. Expected behaviours: respectful, calm, cooperative.

  • Corn Maze – Purchase your Corn Maze tickets at the office. $2 from each ticket goes to a Bayside fundraiser. Corn Maze ends Oct 30th. Thank you.

  • Attention Swimmers – Anyone interested in joining or trying out the school swim team should come and pick up and information form at the office.

  • All Bayside Soccer Players – A reminder of your game against the staff TODAY at lunch in the gym. Everyone is invited to watch the undefeated Bayside staff show off their soccer skills. All staff welcome to play.

  • Gr. 6/7 Boys Basketball – Congratulations on their win over SMU yesterday. Practice Tuesday morning is cancelled and we will have an inter-squad game on Thursday.

  • Cross Country –Congratulations to all Bayside cross country runners who wrapped up the season yesterday at Juan de Fuca Rec Centre. The team put in many strong performances showing true Bayside mettle.

  • Gr. 8 Boys Group – TODAY in Bl. 4

  • Remembrance Day Dancers – Practice TODAY at 12:30 in the Drama room.

  • Attention all artists - If you are interested in winning a free yearbook, please see Ms. Moore in S113 for an entry form, or pick one up from the office. This year's theme is “Under Construction”. Good luck!

  • From the Learning Commons – Don't forget to bring one or more items for the food bank on Monday, at recess and lunch, and you can trade them for free books. One food item gets you 3 books!

  • Lunch Clubs – Cartooning/ Manga Club in E105

  • Masterclass Sectionals – Instrumental masterclass sectionals during Reading Block TODAY are for Gr. 6 & 7 Clarinets and Bass Clarinets. Please bring your instrument, band book and a pencil.
