PARENT-TEACHER INTERVIEWS

A reminder that on Wednesday, October 12th and Thursday, October 13th, we are holding Parent-Teacher Interviews.  This means that there is early dismissal on both of these days, with school ending at 1:33.  If you have not already done so, please register for a time slot (you can do so through the Bayside website).  I look forward to seeing you all this week!

MATH

This week we will be continuing to work on Patterns, specifically T-tables.  There will also be a small DYGI (Did You Get It?) Quiz covering Lowest Common Multiple on Tuesday.

SCIENCE

We will finishing up our focus on the Muscular system.  A short quiz will be done on Friday, so all students need to study a bit for this.  On Wednesday there will be opportunity for review as we create a "foldable" to help us study.

HUMANITIES

We will continue to learn about our brains, specifically neurons and the process of neural communication.  Once students know what parts of the brain are and how they work together, I am hoping that they will learn how they can use this information to help them become better learners.
