The 676 Kittyhawk Air Cadet Squadron, located at 1979 de Havilland Way beside the Victoria International Airport, is hosting a Community Open House at our squadron hall on Thursday, September 7, 2017. We have a wonderful youth program and are eager to share it with a larger community audience!
Who are we?
We are one of the largest youth organizations in Canada and are open to young men and women, aged 12-18. Our program promotes essential social and community skills, that includes leadership, self-confidence, self-discipline, citizenship and physical fitness. This is accomplished through a variety of programs that include glider flying, simulation flying, power familiarization flying, band, drill, marksmanship, SCUBA, biathlon and many others. Cadets train every Thursday evening.
We are seeking youth who are interested in either aviation, music, marksmanship, leadership and speaking skills, having great fun and making tons of new friends. Enrolment is $150/year and includes a uniform and all activities. Income opportunities also exist for the cadets!
We invite families to join us on September 7th at 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Where we will provide a rounded explanation of the offerings of our air cadet squadron.
Please feel free to contact me should you wish further information on this event, or on any information I have included here.
