Attention Grade 8 Parents and Guardians,
The planning is underway for our Grade 8 Farewell.
This celebration is an opportunity for Grade 8 students to
participate in a casual dinner and dance with activities
to celebrate the farewell of our Grade 8 students. We are
having our first meeting on Thursday, 24 April at 7 pm in
the Bayside Library. At this meeting, we will be brainstorming
ideas for this event and have sign up sheets available for volunteers.

Is your youngster interested in sailing? Starting April 5, 2014, they can learn to sale and race for Bayside Middle School. This nine week program includes a one month CANSail program and two regattas. The final regatta will be on June 7, 2014. Previous sailing experience is not necessary. Volunteers are always welcome. In order to save you scrambling for cash so your child can purchase lunch from the Bayside Café, the Café is now offering a pre-paid $50 Lunch Card for students, which will save them having to carry money to school. The pre-paid cards will be kept in the Café so they won't be misplaced. Cheques should be made payable to "SD63" and given to Mrs. Hall in the Café.
Also, each Friday will be Pasta Day at the Café, with assorted pastas being offered for $4 each.
